GOALS: AND WHY YOU SHOULD SET THEM.
For the first time this year, i didn’t bother making a New Years Resolutions because usually within a month, i’ve failed.
However, my new found love is setting very realistic goals no matter how big or small these Goals are and trying to stick to them.
Yes i know we are in May, but its never too late to start setting realistic goals, that are easily achievable for everyone. Something tells me that by the end of this post, someone will be able to relate to this post.
- Treat Yourself More
I don’t necessarily mean to a cake or to new bags, I mean it in the sense of new experiences. Book a spa day because well you don’t need to explain. Go to the hairdressers . Book a holiday with your Mum, Friends, Lover. But remember to do it guilt free. Treating yourself is all self care.
- Be Kinder To Yourself
Be kinder to yourself, be more patient with yourself, I cannot stress this enough, Love yourself more than you did yesterday. Love the body that you are in before trying to change it, Don’t say hurtful things about yourself. You are beautiful & Handsome, so you should smile more. You are deserving of love, success, happiness and yet more love. Take care of yourself – you’re worth it!
- Drink More Water
Water is your friend, I for one did not enjoy drinking water, Bring me orange juice instead! but now do you know that i could drink the recommended amount (2 Litres), and still want more water. However if you are not use to drinking start slowly until you start to enjoy it.
- Read 5 Books (at least)
I have SO Many books and i have genuine intentions to read them all, but what do I do? Sit on my desk with tea and watch Prison Break over and over again. Reading actually stimulates the brain. So now i buy books on Amazon and download it digitally and read on the go. It saves spending so much time on Social media.
- Have More Sex
Explore your sexual side more, be it alone or with your partner and be sure to experiment as much as you want. Whether you’re in a relationship or you are single it honestly shouldn’t matter. Amazing sex makes everyone happier!! Don’t be shy to ask for exactly what you want, If you want your kitty eaten in a certain way, Then Ask! No point not getting satisfied right? If you know what i am saying.
- Spend Less Time On Social Media
Social media will either break or make you, A detox from Social media will do you some good sometimes. When was the last time you actually picked up your phone to send a TEXT message (Me Probably yesterday as my brother will much rather text than Whatsapp). Social Media makes comparing our lives to others very easy. Most things on Social media are FAKE
- Try A New Cuisine Every Month
My last invite out, it downed on me that i hardly try different food. Im the type that can eat one meal over and over again without getting bored of it. There are Plenty of other delicious food awaiting you to try them out. However, we always stick to what we know, I’m i right? I buy the same food stuff every week and eat the same meals every week lool (i know i am working on that). i have now decided to try at least once a month to try something out of my comfort Zone (That don’t mean ill eat just anything crazy thou).
- Save 20% Of Your Monthly Earnings
When it comes to money, I’m so rubbish, because if i want something then i must have it now!! But it is good to add saving money to your monthly goals, that way you can save for a rainy day. If i save every month then practically i could buy that Chanel bag and not feel bad right?? If you are like me, then just save towards something and then save some more so you still have savings after you have bought that thing. therefore its time to consciously save 20% of every monthly income.
